Before your first hijab purchase order, you want three answers: what a sample costs, how long development takes, and when money changes hands. Hijab sample development
Every custom hijab starts with a sample. What your sample involves depends on three things: the fabric you choose, the hijab style, and the level of customization — a stock-fabric jersey hijab with standard finishing is a simpler build than a two-piece instant hijab with custom labels and packaging.
The hijab sample fee is US$50, covering pattern making, cutting and sewing in the selected fabric and color. Two rules, both in your favor:
- If you proceed to a formal order, the fee is refunded in full — the sample effectively becomes free.
- If you don't proceed, the fee is not refunded. The sample has already been made and shipped — that is real labor on our floor.
What we need from you to start: design sketches or reference photos, target sizes, and fabric preference. The finished sample ships to you by courier — typically US$40–100 depending on your country, quoted exactly before you pay.
Lead time: what actually decides it
Rather than quoting one fixed number, we plan your timeline from three factors:
- Sample approval: how quickly you review and confirm the sample — each modification round adds time, so clear feedback on dimensions, colors and finishing early on keeps the schedule tight.
- Material availability: an in-stock fabric moves straight to cutting; newly sourced or custom-dyed fabric adds mill lead time, confirmed before you commit.
- Customization level: labels, packaging and special edge finishing each add production steps.
Your quote states the current schedule for your project before anything is committed. Re-orders are faster on every step, because the pattern, labels and production setup already exist.
Payment: when and how
- Sample fee: US$50, paid before we start your hijab sample.
- Bulk order: T/T (bank transfer) — 30% deposit to start production, 70% balance before shipment.
- The exact schedule is always on your Proforma Invoice before you commit to anything.
- One safety rule we follow too: payments go to our company bank account only, matching the contract — never a personal account.
What changes the numbers
- Fabric availability: in-stock fabric keeps sampling fast and the fee unchanged; newly sourced fabric adds mill lead time and a higher minimum — both told upfront, before you decide.
- Multiple colors: whether quantities can be split across colors depends on fabric stock — send your plan and we confirm within a day.
- Re-orders: no new sample needed unless the design changes, and every step moves faster.
