The development brief can address waist and hip measurements, front and back rise, thigh and calf fit, leg length, waistband depth and the required size range. For footed versions, foot length and fit also need to be specified. The pattern and grading approach are reviewed against the selected fabric and construction.
Tell us your sales market and intended customer profile, and share a garment measurement chart, technical pack or reference sample where available. A size label such as M or XL alone does not define the fit your collection needs.

Butterfly Waist Design and Brushed Interior
The wide butterfly shaped waistband extends coverage over the waist and abdomen. Its contoured design gives the style a distinct waist detail for winter collections worn with skirts, sweater dresses and long knit tops.
The combed cotton outer face is paired with a brushed nylon interior for a soft, warm feel. Elastane provides stretch for the fitted silhouette. During development, the sample helps assess the waistband position, leg proportions and degree of hold for your intended customers.
