Product Overview
This women's tennis skirt uses a construction that is different from a standard lightweight cut-and-sew pleated skirt. The outer pleated layer starts from seamless tubular knitted fabric, which is opened and then pressed into pleats. This creates a more substantial fabric hand and a heavier drape.
Opening the tubular fabric introduces seam lines at the two sides. After pleating, these seams sit within the folded structure and are visually much less noticeable. The skirt also includes integrated safety shorts underneath, so the outer skirt and inner shorts are produced as one complete garment.
